Content Removal & Appeals Policy

Alua does not allow illegal content, non-consensual content, or content uploaded or shared without valid authorization. This policy explains how complaints, content removal requests, and depicted-person takedown appeals may be submitted and reviewed.

Who May Submit a Request

Complaints and content removal requests may be submitted by users, rights holders, any person depicted in content on the platform, or any person with first-hand knowledge of a violation.

How to Submit a Complaint or Removal Request

Requests may be submitted by emailing [email protected] or by using the in-app report content or request removal actions made available on the platform.

If you are a person depicted in content and believe you did not consent, your consent has been withdrawn, or your consent is otherwise invalid under applicable law, please identify the content and explain the basis for your request as clearly as possible.

Information to Include

To help us review a request promptly, please include as much of the following information as available:

  1. Your full name and a reliable contact email address.
  2. The URL or other information sufficient for us to identify the content.
  3. A description of the issue, including whether the request concerns non-consensual content, withdrawn consent, impersonation, copyright, illegal content, or another violation.
  4. Any supporting materials reasonably needed to review the request, such as screenshots, statements, or proof of authority to act on behalf of another person.
  5. If you are the person depicted, enough information for us to verify your identity and connection to the content where reasonably necessary.

Review and Interim Measures

Alua reviews complaints and removal requests in good faith and as quickly as reasonably possible. We may request additional information where necessary to verify the request or understand the facts.

Where appropriate, Alua may temporarily restrict, disable, or remove access to content during an investigation, especially where the request alleges non-consensual content, invalid consent, or another serious policy or legal violation.

Outcomes

After review, Alua may remove content, keep content disabled, limit access, reject the request where the available information does not support removal, or take other action consistent with our Terms of Service, applicable law, and platform safety obligations.

Appeals and Neutral Resolution

A requester or affected account holder may submit additional information and ask Alua to reconsider an outcome. If a disagreement remains unresolved, Alua permits the matter to be pursued before a neutral body, including arbitration, mediation, or a court of competent jurisdiction, as permitted by applicable law and any governing agreement.
